Can you let us know the message number?

It seems you are entering the Future date where as your factory calender is not yet extened to the year. Just check the Factory calender in SCAL.

Neha,

Calendar maintenance is configuration.

First you must know which calendar to change.  Most likely, it is the factory calendar for the plant in the Sales order.  You can determine the factory calendar by using WB03 (don't worry about any error messages here you might get here about 'Retail', the data is still good).  Alternately, you can look in table T001W.

Then:

SCAL > select factory calendar > change > definition.  change the 'from & to' years as required. note the name of the holiday calendar.  Save.

SCAL > select holiday calendar > change > add appropriate holidays as necessary for the years you have added in the factory calendar.  Save.

Please describe your issue in more deatil and the right sequence.

is it one problem or 2 problems?

what does it have to do with MM? one error is in a production order, so it should be posted in PP, the other is in sales order, hence it should be posted in SD forum.

Always mention the error message number if you post error messages, this makes a message unique and we can be certain that you have seen the long text to the message.

6214 is not a date, that s why you get your trouble. do you get this error in creating sales orders or in changing sales orders?
