Synchronization record could not be found in table DDLOG

Dears,

at the end of a system copy during a unicode conversion , on the target system I applied note Oss 459899 to resolve the error ORA-02289 sequence does not exit.

After that the target system was able to start whitout problems. That situation occurred also on others unicode conversion for the same platform/environment.

This system is composed of a CI and one Application server.

Anyway into the SM21 anyway sometimes appears the msg:

"Synchronization record with number -214743108 could not be found in table DDLOG".

No other errors appears into the SM21 and no dumps occurrs on the Sap System.

I would like to clarify if this is an error that need to be investigated or not.

The rdisp/bufrefmode is set to "sendon, exeauto" into the DEFAULT profile and the rdisp/bufreftime has the standard value of "120"

What could be the reason of this message about the DDLOG table ?

regards

Hi Roberto,

When buffered objects are changed, synchronization requests are created
that are written to the DDLOG table at the end of a database
transaction. A database sequence object generates a unique sequence
number for every DDLOG record and saves it in the SEQNUMBER column. The
sequence numbers are assigned in ascending order and without gaps.

When the DDLOG records were evaluated, the buffer synchronization
detected that the DDLOG record with the sequence number stated in the
message does not exist. A DDLOG record can usually only be missing if a
commit operation is terminated due to an error. This should be a very
rare occurence. So if this warning occurs often in the system log,
contact SAP.

Thanks and Regards,

Vipin

Solved applying note 743555

As the DB is an Oracle RAC, the sequence has to be created in different manner respect note 459899.
