Integration with JAVA Application

Hello Experts,

I am working on integrating the SAP ECC with JAVA application of external landscape via SAP-PI 7.3. Kindly suggest

1.What all the requirements and input I need to have from the team working on JAVA application?

2.Since SAP-PI will be interacting with JAVA application of external landscape , which adapter will be suited if security is considered?

3.Share some links which will help me.

can the java app use web services to send/receive data - give them the WSDL in case you receive the data with PI and ask them for WSDL in case PI sends the data to java app

Hi Alice,

come back if they cannot use web services but if they say they can't make sure to ask why as all java apps should be able to do that
