parked entries on SAP closed period

Hi there!

See our deadline for parking journal voucher (JV) is 6:00pm afterwhich were not advised to park anymore.  However, I found that there are still items I need to park or esle.  Thus, I parked the items immediately (that was already 9:00pm). The first JV I parked was immediately released (meaning posted). But the 2nd and the last remained as parked.  I am confused! What would happened?  I was able to park does it mean that the period isn't closed yet? And how about the 2 other JVs would they be released or rather be reflected on the following period? 

Please help.
