Critical Object Approval in SolMan 7.1

Hello,

I am trying the Critical Object functionality included in Charm for the first time. I am getting the following error messasge while I was trying to approve a critical object in SolMan 7.1:

You are not authorizaed to perform this activity
 System Error due to customization

I ran a trace from ST01 and I am not failing on any authorizations. The configuration for Critical Objects seems straight forward. Has anybody seen this error and might point me to the right direction of resolving the issue?
