Sourcing Indicator

Hi Sap gurus,

Can anyone tell me where can i found "SOURCING INDICATOR" while creating a PO and a CONTRACT in SRM 7.0. What this sourcing indicator really used for.

Is there any chance to identify sourcing indicator in portal. I mean at line item level in portal  where can we find the sourcing indicator in srm 7.0

Hi Sanjay,

Not really - in configuration you set specific product categories for sourcing relevence, with the 'Define Sourcing for Product Categories'

So if you know here you define Product category ABC123 for sourcing, then in the portal you would know if you select this category, the products will goto sourcing.

Hi,

For the shopping cart item in transaction BBP_PD you can check the SOURCE_REL_IND, if 'X' then the item is relevent for sourcing and will be sent to the sourcing cockpit.
