Plant Maintenance and WM – Post Goods Issue after Confirmation of TO.

When one is picking to a PM reservation this is normally initiated by a MIGO transaction
there Post GI is done with MT 261. This will then generate a WM TR and a WM TO,
to which the picking is done.

My client would like to have the same process for picking towards a PM reservation as
they have for any other delivery, which means that they would like to Post GI
first after the TO is confirmed by the picker. Is it possible to create some
sort of Outbound Delivery with reference to the PM reservation and then create
the TO towards this Delivery? Or is there any other way do have Post Goods
Issue done first after the TO is created and confirmed.

I would be very grateful if someone could give me an answer on this one.

I know I'm answering an 'old cow' here...(too late for Csaba I mean)

Anyway, I've done that for a client via a small enchancement in MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT at the start. The trick is putting imseg-xdeliv = 'X'...

You may still have other sorrows, like how to pass if the batch determination is to be done in WM.... (but these are also overcomable)

Standard, I also have no solution with SAP ERP WM....

As per OSS note 1764261 PM is not integrated with WM, so I guess you cannot do what is available in WM/PP interface (material staging before GI; delivery creation and picking for the delivery works only via PP/WM interface).

I was afraid of that answer.
Could it be that one could link some sort of "Delivery" to that reservation? By doing that one could handle it as any external delivery.
