Hi Team,
We have some project project profiles which are now obsolete, we dont want to delete them but want to avoid users to use the profile.
One of the solution have is a validation rule, wanted to check if there is any other option.

Yes validation would be an easiest way. But u should assign this validation both in obselete and active project profiles
