Error in Configure LMDB Step while configuring Solution Manager 7.1 initial setup

Hi Guys,

Please help me out.

We have a new Solution Manager 7.1 installed. When I am running solman_setup, I have completed upto step Setup LMDB.

In the Setup LMDB Step, I have Configured Object Server name. When I am clicking on Add for (Syncronization between SLD and LMDB), it opens up a popup window where it automatically pics up

Source URL, :- http://domain:50000/sld/cimom

User id as (solman_admin)

Source Namespace :- sld/active

Rank of Source Namespace :- 1000

Target NameSpace :- active

Rank of Target Namespace :- 2000

Clicking on check everything is fine. When I am clicking on Save or Save and Activate, it gives the below error

Destination LMDB_SyncDest1 does not exist in system

When I am checking in ABAP side in sm59, LMDB_SyncDest1 really exists and connection test is also fine.

Note the following things I have checked and still no luck:-

1. Configured Local SLD in previous step.

2. RFC name is not case sentitive checked that.

3. Deleted the RFC in sm59 and clicked on Save and Activate again from the wizard. Again the RFC LMDB_SyncDest1 created in Abap side but gave same error in Wizard.

4. Users are not locked.

Its kind of urgent, so kindly help.

Hi Santanu,

Apply the below note

check SAP Note 727998 - Complete Replacement of Service Definitions for SDCC/SDCCN

and then de-implement the central note : 1652693 and then agin apply it

Hi,

Reading the destination via the function module DEST_HTTP_EXT_READ
fails because the system does not perform the read attempt using the
original name (that contains lowercase letters); instead, it uses a
name that has been converted to uppercase letters to do this.

1664132 Problem in case-sensitive creation of destination

Please implement the latest version of SAP Notes 1664132 and 1652693.

These notes got automatically implemented in step 3 in solution_setup where it asks for sapnote implementation.

Any other suggestion please?

Hi,

I am updated the current CIM version to latest, also trying to manually implement Note 1664132. But I get the below error.

GEN_INCLUDE_NOT_EXEC - /1CAGTF/IF_LOGFUNC_000500

Checked note 1601253 but its only for SP01.

Hi Santanu,

Issue is describe in SAP note 1664132.

The wizzard created this connection. But the RFC is in upper letters
"LMDB_SYNCDEST1".

The reported issues has been fixed with SAP note 1664132 which is
included in the "SAP Solution Manager - Basic functions of 7.1 SP5" note
(1652693).

Implement notes 1664132 and 1652693 (latest version).

3. (LMDB Administration). On the "Overview" tab, check the "Overall Status of LMDB Infrastructure" and follow the recommendations that are displayed.
