MMC Not coming up : semaphore 10 status

Hi ,

We are installed ERP ehp5 IDES with MAX DB on windows 2008 server.

Issue: SAP MMC is not coming up , work process status semaphore 10. Its not giving any error.

r3trans is working fine but execution time is very long.

Please find attached work process logs.

hi Siva,

login with SIDadm and first start the db and then start the sap.

check the log file, I hope MaxDB log file is filled with data that's why instance did not start.

could you provide the content of (dev_disp, dev_w0).

Just 1 week back we are installed. Anyway I uninstalled , I am going to start installation.

If again same problem comes What I will do?

I could not find any error in dev_w4 file which u attached.

Ok, start the installation and if you get error then you just share the error log and SNC user will help out you.

Hi Abdul,

Instead of increasing logs , Is there any parameter to set overwrite logs?  because this IDES server its not required logs.
