Issue in Catalog Search - SRM 5

Hello experts,

Weare using SRM 5 - Extended Classic Scenario,

Whhile searching catalog users are searchin by giving some parameter some thing like "*CAR*" or "*Shirt*" , when they search by using short words system is ot shwoing any thing.

What could be the reason? Kinldy help.

Hi Sharan,

What catalog are you using, if SAP CCM ,try the report /CCM/CHECK_TREX and drill into one of the indexes to search there to see if it works directly on the trex index, if not, the query if for BC-TRX not for SRM/Catalogs.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your reply. It is SAP CCM, I saw the output of the program but I could not make it anything. I have attached the screen sho o the output of the report.

KInldy have a look a advice me.

Hi Sharan,

The report indicates that the index is corrupted, or maybe that TREX is not correctly functioning, for this you can check the transaction TREXADMIN (if using a 700+ Basis system) to verify that for the TREX RFC Destination that all the processes are running successfully.

If they are not, then restart the trex to check if this resolves the issue.
