client require sub transaction type for option Additional Excise & Other Adj.in J1iH transaction .We define that in the system (IP) for Import,but system not allow to make JV of additional excise with this transaction please help where I Missing

Have you checked account determination? What is the error in J1IH? IP type is hard coded by SAP and can be used only for imports.

subtraction type  comes from cin settings. Go to img-logistic general -tax on good movement-INDIA-Account determination- specify gl accounts per excise transaction

here you assign the excise group , ETT NUMBER -COMPANY CODE - SUB Transaction Type-C/A Account, all g/l accounts you can assign based on this system takes automatic sub transaction type at J1IIN, J1IH etc,

Please this settings for normal all possible scenarious.

Why your client wants new stt ? standard can fulfill all the requirement, its not easy to create anything new in CIN. If I am not wrong, you are tring to create new ETT like GRPO , CEIV etc which is not an easy task.

I am not going to create GRPO, CEIV We already define IP for GRPO .I only want when i go to make J1ih against document then this IP should be applicable.With this subtransaction type i want to take additional excise duty .Presently my existing system not allow me to to Use IP in J1ih transaction so please help where i missing

Hi Sangita,

For excise JV through J1IH, system uses following excise transaction types,

Additional excise - DIEX

Other Adj - MRDY

Now, go to, SPRO - Logistics General - Tax on Goods Movements - India - Account Determination - Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

Here check the account configuration for DIEX and MRDY with required sub-transaction type.
