Hi All
May be I am asking silly question but request your expertise suggestion.
We have an option to create legacy open PO commitments (POs created before FM activation) thru FMN4N , but we also can create these PO commitments thru ME22N (PO change mode) by changing any field (For example enter xxx in 'recipient' (WEMPF),) system will check the budget accordingly commitments will be created.
But the only difference in FMN4N and ME22N is, in FMN4N we have an option multiple POs and budget AVC check options, but in ME22N we don't have these options.
I know PO commitments will be created thru FMN4N only, but I am facing a peculiar situation that why's for few POs commitments need to be create thru ME22N change mode (thru BAPI).
Kindly suggest your opinion on this
Regards
Rao

Hi Lopez
If you read my other thread you can able to understand the issue (thread: PO Reconstruction issue).
Actually in this current project FM is not activated but derivation rules were activated, due to this few POs are created with FM objects but XOBLR (Affects commitment) field is not updated in EKPO table.
Due to this If I execute FMN4N I am getting blank data. As Mr. Mar suggested if i execute FMCN and FMCT this will be updated in EKPO table, but if execute FMCN and FMCT current FM objects will be overwritted, which don't want actually. That's why I am planning to create commitments thru ME22N, so that XOBLR field will be updated (after FM activation) as well as commitments will be created.
May be I am wrong....
