Hi Gurus,

http://oktaykilic.wordpress.com/2010/11/01/sapwithsmlt/

at step no -

19. Go to SE38 Execute RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS Select the newly installed language and press OK It will show you the support packages whose language parts you want to import.

20. GO to Next screen. Copy the PAR or CAR files to EPS/in folder for all support packages showing in RED. This will import the language specific parts of those support packages. Press Import Language Data and Overwrite. It will show you the message “The Support Package Language Data was imported correctly. All system languages are up to date.

-------

  #  after execution of these steps "all support packages showing in RED " are of older release than present in system,

kindly suggest any notes /steps to follow.

Hello Rhit,

What is the current support package level?

It seems wrong that it is asking for old packages.

I think  that the problem is with an internal table
which has no information for the SP language part to be installed, hence
its asking for all packages. I could see it clearly for (i.e) Italian
language.

In order to solve it, please reset the OCS status in the following way:

SMLT > Language > Special Actions > Import Support Packages > Edit
> Reset Status > Reset All Components.

this will update the internal table to the correct level based on the
last imported language package.

then check again what packages are flagged to be imported.

Paul

Hello Rohit,

that is very strange. The procedure from the below KBA, should resolve this

1731315 - Too many / too old support packages needed during
           import of language parts

After resetting the language status for Japanese regarding all
components the queue in RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS should be fine.

Please note that after applying the steps in #1731315, you should

leave SMLT and enter again in order to refresh it.

What is the value for the supplementation language?

What is the secondary language set to in SMLT?

Regards,

Paul
