Hello everyone,
I am working on an IS-Retail system architecture that already uses F&R for forecast and replenishment of retail articles. Our next challenge is fnished products (produced in-store). These are made of different ingredients and we have all the necessary recipes for that.
My question is can we use the existing F&R system, in order to start from a sales forecast at finished goods level and to break it down into order proposals at ingredients level? As far as my understanding goes (from what I can read about F&R), this is not possible in F&R. This would mean that we would have to use standard MRP for that. From a system landscape point of view, it is not a good idea to have different solutions for different articles, so I wanted to ask if anyone of you F&R expert knows if this is possible at all using F&R (with or without enhancements/developments).
Thanks
