Hello All,

I am patching SOLUTION Manager SPS23 to SPS2 and I am stuck with the below error

XPRA_EXECUTION

TP_STEP_FAILURE

RC:0008
ERROR MSG: OCS Package SAPK-706BZINBICONT, tp step "R" return code 0008.

SAPR706BZINBICONT import log shows the following errors
"Start of the after-import method RS_DTRF_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) DTRF (Delivery Mode)"
contains message number "Message no. R7501" and An exception has occurred "Message no. SY530"

I have implemented SAP Note 1722205 as well no luck and also reset the bufferes.

Any advise is aprreciated.

Hello Kiran,

Please, check logs again. Could you find message 'Source system XYZ does

not exist'? The note 1564964 contains recomendations for this error.

Usually problem with this SP on phase XPRA_EXECUTION solves by this note.

In the after import methode RS_DTRF_AFTER_IMPORT you are only
getting the error "An exception has occurred".
In order to see the real error, please implement following note:

  #1546842 - Message SY530 in the transport log RS_DTRF_AFTER_IMPORT

After that please re-run the XPRAS_UPG.
In most cases other customers got the error message:
"Sourcesystem XYZ does not exist".

Please check if the sourcesystem is really not connected to your BW
system. If you do not need that sourcesystem you can use function module
RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE to delete it.

Before you run this funtion module, please apply following note:

  #1336119 - Technical correction for deletion of orphaned objects

Please use this function module very carefully!

Thank you for the quick reply, I don't any error message "source system does not exist" however i have other errors like. I read the note 1564964 through it as not relevant.

Hello Kiran

Firstly, must to check if exist a object with flag "repair" about patch component. Within SE03 transaction.

After, must see if in SAP Support Portal exist a SAP Note about that issue particulary.

Sometimes, re-importing that patch component, itself is fix the issue.

Hello All,

This issues is resolved now by following SAP Notes.

Initially my logs were not show the source system that was causing problem in order to resolve

that issue we implemented 1546842 and continued with the SP import, this time it showed the error/source system. We continued implementing SAP Note 1564964 and followed the manual changes in the note 169471.

Issues is resloved now. Thanks for everyones support.
