Hello,

Regarding the error,

Please make sure that there is enough free space on

../abap/data/ directory and make sure the upgrade user has

full permission for the action.

HI Gaurav,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have checked the permission , it is ok. 2 GB free space is there too.

Looks like SUM failed to delete /usr/sap/S2L/SUM/abap/data/R-1507UINSTPL.SAP  and that caused the error. But when I checked , I donot see the file R-1507UINSTPL.SAP is there.

I usually set the permission of the of "SUM" directory as follows, when ever I get permission error.

Go to /usr/sap/<SID> directory.

$ chmod -R 777 SUM

$ chown -R <sidadm>:sapsys SUM

If get error for any uncared support pack component, just download the individual component and uncar it on "EPS/in" directory manually.

Hello,

Always give the upgrade directory /usr/sap/<sid>/abap and the trans directory /usr/sap/trans

full permissions. Also please make sure that there is enough space in these directorie as per

the upgrade guide.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

Sandhya
