Is it possible to prevent two different types of meter reading orders (e.g. "01" and "03") from sharing an internal mr doc. id when they share the same scheduled meter reading date? We are currently suppressing the billing order the for the periodic meter reading order when it is within the specified timeframe of the move out reading but have found that when the periodic meter reading is returned from our meter reading system, it is populating the periodic meter reading order for the actual read date which is different than the move-out date and final billing the customer as of the periodic meter reading date versus the actual move-out date. Meanwhile, the move out reading order is left as an open meter reading order.

Have you checked the meter reading priority settings? The move out meter reading order should have priority over periodic meter reading.

We do have the proper priority settings where the "03" is a priority 1 and the "01" is a priority 2.
