Hierarchy Node Variable LOV show technical names

Hi all,

I have created a universe in UDT connecting to BEx query that has a hierarchy node variable. When I create a webi on this universe, the prompt for hierarchy node variable (from BEx query) shows LOV with technical name.

If I connect to same BEx query usine BICS and then create WEBi, the LOV shows description as expected. But because of some other issue, I need to use universe.

How do I get it to show description instead of technical name?

Hi

I made change to properties of dimension in BEx. For Display As, changed it from stadard to Text | Medium text.

Still the technical names shows up in LOV.

Hi,

The BEx properties are not really used via MDX interface. See Note 820925 - MDX Restrictions

It could also be that the object's master data texts are not translated in the master data tables for your connection's logon language.

What BI4.0 SP and fix Patch are you using?

Are equivalent Integration Kit transports also imported into BW?
