Which Relationships are followed in Evaluation path

I see that Evaluation paths are defined in OOAW as well as through SPRO->Personnel Management->Personnel Development->Maintain Relationship.So, which relationship is followed?

OOAW

SPRO->...->Maintain Relationship

Authorization profile(in OOSP) contains Evaluation path. So, this determines the traversal path. So, which path is followed?

Hi Plaban,

The Evaluation Path is the Logic which is used to collect all the nodes for the required object in the structural authorization.

There can not be 2 relationships/Eval Path with the same technical name. So The relationship is always has 2 pats one is Tope-down (A) or Bottom-up (B) and the respective number for relation.

The Evaluation Path has it altogether with complete information like A012 or B012. so 012 can not be used without A or B.

Now comming to your original question the Evaluation path is the only one which is used to calculate the other nodes for the structural authorizations. So if in Eval only A012 relationships are given in the logic then A012 will be used only.

The basic difference is in concept how we are implementing/building it, we can use both relationships as well while building the Eval paths.

Thanks and regards,

Vinod
