SAP* login issue

I have set the parameter login/no_automatic_sap* to 1 and also deleted the sap* from USR02 table for client.

But still am not able to login.

Also for client 066, default password for EARLYWATCH it says that as there was no login from long time, it is disable, how to enable it back?

Hello Saurabh,

Sometimes the SAP* user is not activated. There is a profile parameter
login/no_automatic_user_sapstar - the value for this should be 0 if
want to be able to logon to the system with the user SAP* . Make sure
this profile parameter is set in the INSTANCE profile.

Remember if you update this profile or include it in the system
profiles you will need to bounce the server for it to take effect.

For Client 066, login as SAP* and then activate earlywatch.

I have made the value to "0" and restarted the server still, not able to login.

Also provide some solution for 066, is there any way to enable the user and standard password.

are you able to logon to other clients using SAP*

sorry to ask you the basic question, have you activated the profile after changing the parameter? and what value you see in RZ11 for the parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar"

For early watch user:  SAP Note No. 7312 Client 066 for EarlyWatch might be helpful.

The parameter you want is "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" and it needs to be set to 0.

Hope you restarted the SAP system after the parameter change.

sorry i forgot to mention the correct parameter is login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0
