Moving Average Price and Standard Price

Hi SD GURUS,

I want know the impact of standard price and moving average price in sales order

I know MAP is for statistical and Standard price are evaluated in FI  through price control V or S.

Apart from that is there any impact on sales order

Hi Harsha,

As rightly said by the above members, I just want to share you that MAP or STD price indicator do not impact in the sales order but definitely the Material Price (MAP/STD) will be fetched in the Pricing Condition VPRS - Material Cost in the Pricing Condition Tab.

Please note that this is only for Statistical information purpose which can be taken for Reporting purpose.

Note : This is SAP standard may or may not used by all the Business Org.

No impact on sales order, unless you use this value as a basis for any  price calculations.

Moving Average Price or Standard Price would be used by financial users of the business to know the overall cost to manufacture that product.  Having said this, from SD point of view, this would be used to arrive at a selling price.
