P2V SAP License Key

Hi,

I have P2V my SAP ERP development, everything remain the same (IP, hostname), except the hardware. Do I need to generate a new license key?

If you hardware key has changed you need to generate new license key. For Windows:

"Only Windows uses a hardware key that does NOT depend on the hardware. A new installation of Windows definitely causes the hardware key to change."

It's using Windows, no wonder when I use slicense, hardware key still the same.
