Update custom fields in Infotype 0001 through sap portal

How can I update the custom fields of Infotype 0001 in the backend from SAP portal using Adobe forms.

Hi Bala,

You can use Webservice/RFC to update data in infotype from SAP Portal Adobe Form application.

    Thanks for the reply. I am already using Webservice to update data in the backend.

But the custom fields are not updated through standard WF method SAVE_DATA_TO_DB. So I added code to in the  post implementation method of SAVE_DATA_TO_DB  to update the custom fields byusing  FM like HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION and RH_PNNNN_MAINTAIN but both didn't work.   Please let me know what are the other options to update the custom fields.

Hi Bala,

I am facing the same error 'No data stored for the period' while using the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION while updating some values in infotype and that are not primary fields. Can you please help me to solve the error.
