Hi SAPians,
If we create pricing in VK11 using diff. access sequence like
1.customer/material.2.material.3.sales organisation/dist.channell.there will be 3 diff prices,so,while creating sales order which price will system pick up customer/material or material or sales org./dist channell.
Guyz could u plz explain to me in detail how to test these price condition with diff access seq.while creating sales order.
Thanks.
Mohammed.
Hi Mohammed,
The access sequence picks the record which is valid and if more than one it goes through and picks the last one. To prevent this check the exclusive indicator. That it finds the record required and comes out of the access sequence. This actually helps system performance. But it is for us to arrange the condition tables starting from the most specific to the general.
In addition also please check this link which describes it further.

Hope it helps. Please reward if useful.

This is controled by using exclusion indicator in acess sequence view.
for examle
you have recorder K004 and K007
then while applying prcing it will take both the conditons and both the discounts are applied for avoiding this if you put the exclusion indicator on for K004 then it will not go to K007
other wise if you want best discount among K004 and K007 to be applied you should maintain exclusion groups with that one will be applied and the other one will be deactivated but you can see the deactvated conditon in gray

First u should maintain tables in acess sequence in the from of specific to generic,ur condition records based on this and in the exclusion u should tick to the tables

Hi,
If you are talking about Price(PR00) condition type in pricing procedure, one way to control the duplication of the records in via maintaining exclusion check for that access sequence in customizing. If records for all accesses are maintained for PR00 without exclusion functionality, system will pick up the last condition record only as active. This is being controlled by condition class for condition type.In the standard program this check is provided.
More information you can get in Williams.

Dear Mohammed,
Rakesh here!!!!!
Well what you can do is to play with the Exclusion in the access sequence. If you check it the system will take one record and will not do further processing i.e. not check further access. if you do not check it will do the vice versa.
if you need the further clarification you can write to me.

Hi;
1. In the config where you define the Acc. Seq you will find a "Exclusion" check box. If this is checked the system would stop once it gets a record and will not read further access.
2. If this is not check and let us say we have maintained records at all levels the system would read all the accesses and finally pick up the first record.
3. To test your scenario, simplest way is to maintain records at each level and test the scenario.
Basically, you should decide what price the system should pick up and design it accordingly.
Hope this helps.

In SPRO
check what is the access sequence maintained for the pricing condition type
now check the
Access sequence - Access number
this
Indicates the number of the access within the access sequence
for testing you could change the sequence of this and maintian different price combinations and test.
please reward points if it helps.
