Changing Status Profile

Dear Experts,

                Is there any way that i can change the status profile for project definition and all the wbs elements within a project at a go instead of individually setting them in the Project Builder ?

My requirement is that there is a status profile "A" assigned to multiple projects. I want to change it to make use of user statuses within the another status profile "B".

Use of Bapi will definitely help which i got to know for get/ set user statuses while searching the forum , but is there any such bapi for status profile too in SAP 6.0 to work on.

Try BAPI_BUS2001_SET_STATUS
