Hello Friends
We have oracle upgrade last week and update stats run after that
we have below issues ans impacted badly ,if anyone has any experience please let us know
1. The update stat with brconnect runs bit slow
2. the background jobs are highly impacted and takes twice than normal time
3. the dialog response time was ok but today whole system is impacted and slow
4. Business is hampered and we contacted SAP and oracle
5.I seen huge CPU utilization on DB host
6. app server with CI looks ok with swap and CPU and memory
7. we done from oracle 10.2.0.4 to 10.2.0.5
8.we have Solaris 10 for both app and DB hosts
9. sap version is ECC 6 .0 and kernel is 701 patch level 69
Thanks a lot
Ganesh
We faced with that kind of problem, previously but not at the same patch level as you. After the investigation by SAP AGS, Oracle has been released a patch. It might be the bug at the Oracle level, if you didn't change the hardware component or parameter a parameter without recommendation by SAP.

Hey Ganesh,
First of all let me ask you some questions to clearify:
Did you update your Oracle Client to Version 10.2.0.5?
Did you update your BR*Tools, maybe to latest version from rel 7.20 ?
DId you also think about an upgrade oy your current kernel to at least version 7.20 PL 201 (For me this was the last stable version.... but maybe there's a newer one right now...)? (Kernel 7.20 is very important since august 1st because SAP wanted to simplify the versioning.... see also Note 1629598 - SAP Kernel 720 will
replace older kernel versions
how to install: Note 1636252 - Installing a 7.20
kernel in SAP Web AS 7.00/7.01/7.10/7.11
Hope this helps. Let me know.
Rgds,
Alex
