PI 7.3 Std/Housekeeping tasks

Dear all,

we have moved to PI 7.31 Java stack only and we would like to know what are the standard/housekeeping tasks that should be done since we are on Java only and there is no more ABAP stack to schedule such jobs :

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/aeb19e5bb5356be10000000a421937/frameset.htm

What is the recommendent PI 7.3 job configuration ? What are the standard jobs, reorg jobs, collecting perf. jobs, etc ? I could find documentation but dealing with ABAP stack such as the above link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Jamal

Hello!

Please check the help page below for configuration and management of PI using AAEX (java only).

Thanks that helps.

So only 3 jobs need to be scheduled ?

Did you experiment it yourself ?

Hi,

In addition to those three jobs (messages archiving, deletion and rescheduling of lost messages), it is also recommended to schedule messages restart job periodically.

From the link to SAP Help page describing PI housekeeping jobs in ABAP stack that was referenced by Jamal ( http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/aeb19e5bb5356be10000000a421937/frameset.htm ), you can see in the bottom of it a link to the page where you can find a list of recommended PI housekeeping jobs for Advanced Adapter Engine: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/4b/a0aca1c95c63a3e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm .

Did you get any information, documents, guidelines... on this topic ?

I am exactly in the same case and can't find anything.
