Source List ME05 Valid_To

When using ME05 to generate a source list for a contract and populating a Valid To date beyond the contract Validity End date, the resulting source list record's Valid To date will be overwritten with the contract's Validity End date.   Is there any way to get the source list record to be created with the chosen date, beyond the contract's end date?   ME01 allows the individual creation of source list with a date beyond the contract end date and my business users have a need to create contract source lists with end dates beyond the contract end date.

System determines the validity period of Source list from the contract's validity period. So It's not possible to overwrite the date in ME05. The only dirty workaround is, extend the validity period of Contract and generate the Source list via ME05 and then reset the validity period in contract.
