Comparing ERP to APO

I was wondering if someone can share a field by field comparison between APO and ERP.

Hi Mono,

On what terms you want to compare these two systems.

ERP is a system to execute the Business transactions while APO is just a planning system.

APO extract data from ERP system and plan those data using some alogorithms and return data to execution system.

My requirement is about the terminology and the fields of ERP which populate the fields of APO. Its mainly the master data, I am trying map the fields in both systems.
