Vendor replication to SUS (scenario MM-SUS)

Dear SAP experts,

We are in SRM 7.01 with backend ECC 6.05 and deploying classic scenario. We are going to have SUS implemented, and as we're using classic scenario we will use MM-SUS variant. I just want to clarify something. In SRM215 it is explained that we can replicate vendor from ERP to SUS by help of classification. However we also already replicate vendor from ERP to SRM. Does it meant that we then will end up with vendor database in 3 system (ERP, SRM, and SUS)? Is that how it suppose to work? Please enlight me on this issue.

HI John,

Yes that's right. You'll have vendors in 3 systems. Your ECC vendor will be linked to SRM and also SUS.

So when you create a SC in SRM with vendor A, this will create a PO in ECC with vendor A and this PO will be routed to SUS.
