2 step Picking have

Hi Experts,  I have activated 2 step picking for deliveries.  For that i have done below settings :

1.Define 850 movement type & assigned for 2 step picking.

2.Configured Interim storage type 200.

But i am confused about the role of movement type 850 !

I mean do the movement type 850 is responsible for picking process of stock from warehouse & placing it at storage type 200 ?

or

It is responsible for picking the stock from storage type 200 & placing it at storage type 916 ?

Please some one put some light on it

Regards,

Hi,

Storage type 200 is used for withdrawl step and storage type 850 is used for distribution step (picking) in the 2-step picking process.

So, 850 is responsible for picking the stock from interim storage type 200 and place it in 916.

Hi Vijaya,

Thank you for your post.

In 2 step picking process:

1.Material is picked from warehouse(Removal) & Staged at 200 storage type

2.Second step material is picked from 200 (Allocation) & place it in 916.

So what are the tcodes used in the process for picking stock from warehouse & storage type 200.Also which movement types are used to pick stock from warehouse & storage type ?

Hi,

Please find the details below,

Step1: Create the transfer order for stock removal for outbound delivery

Path: Sap Easy Access-> Logistics-> Logistics Execution-> Outbound process-> Goods issue for outbound delivery-> Picking-> Create the transfer order via two-step picking

Transaction-> LT0E

Step2: Confirm the transfer order

Path: Sap Easy Access-> Logistics-> Logistics Execution-> Outbound process-> Goods issue for outbound delivery-> Picking->Confirm the transfer order-> single document->In one step.

Transaction-> LT12

Step3: Check the stock overview for the materials

Transaction-> LS24

From the stock list, you can see that the requested quantity is moved to the interim storage area after the transfer order confirmation. This is the first step (withdrawal) in 2-step picking process.

Step4: Distribute the picking quantity

Path: Sap Easy Access-> Logistics-> Logistics Execution-> Outbound process-> Goods issue for outbound delivery-> Picking-> Wave picks-> Two-step picking-> Analysis.

The pick step is flagged with a green traffic light to show that it is complete; the distribution step still has to be completed.

Place the cursor on the traffic light symbol, next to ‘Allocation’ and choose ‘Create TOs’, it will take you to the TO creation by multiple processing screen (Transaction->LT42)

Choose ‘Start multiple processing’, the system will create transfer orders in back ground.

Movement type '850' is used for removing the stock from warehouse.
