vkoa and vok1

hi,

may i know what is the difference of vkoa and vok1?

both also related to GL but i am not sure what is the difference between.

need your kind advice.

Dear Srina

VOK1 is the short cut to reach all the transaction for Revenue Account Determination at a galance      i.e. SPRO>SALES AND DISTRIBUTION>Basic Functions>Account Assignment/Costing>Revenue Account Determination.

Here in VOK1 in the menu tab you will find all the transaction relevent to Account assignment so you dont need to go in SPRO each time.

Where as VKOA is the assingment of G/L if all the necessary settings has been done.

In nutshell both are same but VOK1 offers more flexibility at once.

Dear Srina

Yes both also assign G/L.

In VOK1 go to Enviournment > Maintain Account Determination. i.e. last option  and this will open VKOA and which is used to assign GL.
