Hello jan,

That would not be possible in sm36/37,

solution :

1) it could be achieved through SAP Redwood CPS/Cronacle tool.

or

2) workaround would be , define 6 weekly jobs (monday through saturday)

thanks

Hi Jan,

You can use the restrictions tab in SM36 which has option to skip the job on sundays, we use this to skip a job to run on Sundays in one of our system.

Below is our selection to achieve this,

Hope this helps you.

hi Pradeep,

using factory calendar would add the job , not running on holidays according to the calendar defined.

correct me if i am wrong.

Hi Nikhil,

Yes, it happens if you have holidays defined in your selected calendar, or else the job will not run on Sundays. You can define a test job and check in any sandbox.

Hi Pradeep,

Thats what the original question was.

mon-sat > job run

sun > skipping it.

and problem with factory calendar is :

suppose if monday or say Wednesday is holiday as per your calendar, then job would get skipped on those holidays too, instead it was intended to skip only on sunday's.

@jan : Are you able to get this resolved.

Hi Nikhil,

We can have a calendar i.e. not defined with holidays. The selection shown above help us to run our job on all days except on sundays.

Hi Pradeep,

workaround is on you what decide to go for.

i suggested to avoid moving a TR if you create a factory calendar.,

and its not client specific too.

Thanks
