Pre-defined Promotion Attribute Values

Dear Experts,

I want to maintain one time promotion attribute values per attribute type (already defined) for easy maintenance, selection and reporting.

Is there a way to maintain this without having to create a maintenance view for the same. I couldnt see any t-code for the same on screen

Hello Guru,

There is nothing as such to fix the attribute values for a defined attribute type.

But you can create an attribute for a particular type while creating a promotion and next time when you go for creating another  promotion you can always choose that attribute value  using F4 help.

This will help you in always setting same attribute for a particular attribute type.

I realized that but I was wary of giving the users the freedom to give 500 names to the same promotion. This will make promotion reporting unwieldy.
