Dear consultants,
I planed to install sap content server 6.40 on windows 2008 server.Basically we are working on Sap ECC 6.0
Any one suggest me which DVD series number can be download from market place and what are the Pre requisites

Any one help me. During installation getting error i.e Caught ESAP inst expenssive on module call. I checked log that it is unable to delete from C: program files/sap_inst/nw04s/standlone/contentserver/DB/dev_sap_kernal. All sevrices are running. which services need to stop i dont know. Please help me

iam not installing sap Ecc .
am installing sap content server 6.4 with maxDB 7.8 on windows 2008 server r2.
i done step by step as per the documents but error occured after given maxdb path LABEL.ASC.
Error is CAUGHT; ESAPINST ON MODULE CALL. i found in the log it shoes that unable to delete dev_sap_kernal .
and also i tried with given DB INST.exe insted of LABEL.ASC FOR MAX DB . Again error is DB VERSION _7.8 NOT CREATED .
Let me know any suggestion....

50113858_3 NW 7.0 Presentation - MaxDB Release 7.6 from service market place
As usual we are given path for Max db from our standard path with LABAL.ASC.
as per note 1480906 i followed steps and finally succeed .
Thses are the errors i got in the installtion :
1) control.xml not created
2) Gui version canot be created for DB_7.8
Note: MAX DB 7.8 is not suitable for windows 2008 R2 standard server better to do with MAX DB 7.6 and than we can upgrade to 7.8. check SNOTE : 1399009

Please install the Content Server on Windows Server 2008/R2 with MaxDB 7.6 as delivered on the compilation DVD. Then update the MAXDB and ODBC to a supported version accordingly.
1) For Windows 2008 which are >= 7.6.5.12 or >= 7.7.4.14,
2) For Windows 2008 R2 which is MaxDB 7.8.
You can refer note 735598 for the upgrade to MAXDB patch.
You can have a look at the below 2 notes too for the additional information for these releases:
793550 for the upgrade to version 7.6
read the note in which mentioned that you have to install the content server with MaxDB 7.6 on Window Server 2008 R2. after installation, you have to upgrade it. please check the highlighted text.
