Hi friends,

I am getting an error in MIRO posting against a service entry sheet. "

No Service category is determined for material"  Message No : 81818. I have alraeady maintained the service category in service master.

Can any body help me pl.

Hi,

1. GO to transaction J1IST.

2. Select MMService category Determination

3. Select key combination "Based on Material".

4. New entries --> Give material blank and give your service category.

Since material number will not be used in service procurement, we have to define for blank material.

Alternately, if you want different service category for different services, you can assign service category based on material type.

Or

Simple go to SE16N, table J_1IVSERCATMM4 and maintain your values.

Solution: If you don't expect to post GR for this Service PO, and just want to post the IR, then remove the GR indicator in Delivery & Invoice tab of the PO and retry

Hi,

Check did you assign organization status for service category to Service Category in following path:

SPRO -> MM -> ESM -> Service master -> Define Service Category

Also check setting for organization status for service category in following path:

SPRO -> MM -> ESM ->Service master - > Define organization status for service category
