MDM created inbound archive file names seems to be in various formats. What is file naming standard used by MDM for these files?

The date and time is addedd to the file name. YYYYMMDDHHMMSS is added before the file name.

I beleive the original files were named as

946b8758-1f44-11e2-9bf9-000001a97a12

f56845cd-1d0c-11e2-9562-000001a97a12

4fb203ee-1f59-11e2-853f-000001a97a12

2b31bf1f-1c22-11e2-b58d-000001a97a12

These 2 files are processed twice as someone had copied the already processed files to ready folder again.

20121026104153_20121026103847_4fb203ee-1f59-11e2-853f-000001a97a12

so after first processing and archiving,

20121026103847_4fb203ee-1f59-11e2-853f-000001a97a12

20121022101245_2b31bf1f-1c22-11e2-b58d-000001a97a12

then again copied them to ready folder for reprocessing so after second processing and archving,

Hi Subin,

That is the input file name delivered by PI or any other middleware or FTP into the MDM Ready folder.

MDM does add the Data and Time only before the original file name.

So if you will rename this file as AAAAA and dump in Ready folder then it will become something like this

20121023112944_AAAAA

If still issues, do let us know the process of importing input files into ready folder.

Hi Subin,

The following blog sheds some light on the way to achieve this through SAP PI.

One can go through the scenarios possible to understand this better -
