inspection point results to external system

Dear Experts

I have a requirement in which I would like to send one particular inspection point confirmation to external system if all characteristics associated with that inspection points are passed. Detailed requirement is as follows

1)Inspection lot has multiple operations

2)one inspection point is created per opeartion and result recording are being done at inspection point(operation) level

3)If all charactersitics related with one inspection lot are OK(passed) it is expected to send confirmation to external system

Request experts to suggest in order to achieve this functionality

We don't have any manual intervention in result recording and result are coming through QM-IDI interface and characteristics valuation is also automatic

Therefore request you to please suggest something keeping above things

Then.. What is problem?

Why don't you add new logic in QM-IDI function module.

Use the follow-up action in selected set code.

In SAP.. when you save inspection result for inspection point, the screen for valuation will be pop-up.

User will choose any selected set code such as accept, reject,...

In function module of follow-up action.. you can export inspection results to external system.

And I recommend use of BAPI for checking inspection results.
