Hi All,
I wanted to know how to set up an Message based synchronization
as package type in MBO development. as far as i know, there
are 2 types : RBS and MBS. I think there is a radio button option
but i dont know where.
Thanks,
Nirav
I suggest you move to SUP 2.1.3 or later.
When you create MBO's they are now mainly replication based, except for those deployed for work flow applications.

Up to SUP 2.1.2 iOS uses MBS and others RBS
Starting from SUP 2.1.3 also iOS uses RBS even if SUP supports MBS for backward compatibility (using SUP 2.1.2 libraries).
I switched our application from SUP 2.1.2 MBS to SUP 2.1.3 RBS and I suggest to move on RBS if you have the choice.

Ivan

Going forward (from SUP 2.1.3+ onwards), Sybase will only be adding new features to RBS based application. So, if you are deciding on which route to take, I strongly recommend going the RBS route.
