RFC Lookup Graphically OR Standard RFC Lookup in PI 7.30 Message Mapping

Hi Gurus,

Can I use RFC Lookup Graphically in PI 7.30 Mapping? My PI version is only PI 7.3

Because, I have to get Notification Numebr and all BAPIRET2 fields from this RFC Lookup.

Based on BAPIRET2-TYPE, I have to update my target structure.

I have to map 5 target fields from this RFC Lookup out put fields.

Again my concern is that I have to use only one RFC Lookup in entire mapping to map all 5 fields in target.

In some forums I have seen that PI 7.3 will not support RFC Lookup Graphically using parameterized message mapping concept.

Can I get the functionality using Standard RFC Lookup in PI 7.30 Message Mapping?

Any solution to get above the functionality?

Regards,

Sreeni.

Hi,

on ABAP stack (non ICO) you can always use parameters,

Hi Sreeni,

As Michal already replied, if you use classic (dual-stack) processing in PI 7.3, you can use parameterized mappings. In contrast, parameterized mappings are not available for Java-only processing in PI 7.3 - this becomes possible only in PI 7.31.
