Dear All,

We have configured RFC to JDBC asynchronous scenario. While triggering BAPI in R3 we got the following error in SM58 of R3. JCO. server could not find server function 'FUNCTION MODULE NAME' . We have configured one RFC destination of type T in R3 and maintain Program ID and Given R3 Gateway host and R3 Gateway Service. We did not give anything on Logon & Security tab of RFC destination (T). Apart from this I have created same Program id in NWA of PI. In PI NWA I have used

Server Configuration:

Gateway Host: PI GW host

Gateway Service: PI GW service

Server Count: 3

Repository Configuration:

Application Server Host: PI host name

System Number: PI system number

Client: PI client number

User: PI_JCO_RFC

Password:

Language:

connection test is working fine in R3 with both the ( R3 and PI) Gateway Host and Gateway services as well. Please let me know if more configurations or anything required for this requirement in PI and ABAP side.

Regards,

Ashok.

Hi Ashok,

The problem seems with Program id or the user. PI_JCO_RFC needs to be present, password maintained and not locked.

Dear Shukla,

Program ID is registered and PI_JCO_RFC is maintained in NWA. Connection test is working fine in R3 and how to see whether that user is locked or not?

Please give valuable inputs for this issue..

Regards,

Ashok.
