Collecting IDocs in BPM

All,

Newbie here. I have a scenario where i need to collect IDocs from a SAP R3 system - and every 4 hours consolidate all IDocs into an xml and write it to a FTP location.

I have imported the IDoc and am using the collection pattern in ccBPM. The question is for the PI to receive the IDocs - i should be defining a abstract interface of the what message type? Should i create a message type of the exact same structure as the IDoc or is there a way - i can say the abstract interface uses the IDoc message type?

Hi

You hv to use the abstract messge type same as IDOc type. Also check the following link
