Limit QM02 security by catalog D Code

I have a complaint related notification type that i'd like to give a subset of users access to but only when the coding (D) of the notification is equal to certain values.  In other words, if coding = 1 in the notification, user may edit anything in the notification.  If coding = 2 for the notification then user gets error that authorization is prohibited. 

Any help is appreciated

Hi,

Coding wise via catalog is not possible bcoz assignment of coding is not the stdn object. but u can restrict ur user via T-Code/ Catalog wise.

This is bcoz, in QM01/QM02/QM10 there is nothing in stdn screen where u may provide the initial input as catalog /coding. secondly there is only minor level restriction at transactional level via authorization but as you requested it is not possible.
