Failed connection to universe using LDAP Authentication

Hi everyone,

A customer is trying to complete a trial of Visual Intelligence and is having issues connection to their system.  Attached is the error message they are receiving.

The suggestion was made to them to change the Authentication from LDAP to Enterprise and logon using their BOE credentials.  They tried this and it worked for the administrator, but not their other non-admin user. 

Does anyone have any idea why this non-admin user would be able to log into the LaunchPad using LDAP but is unable to log onto the CMS via Visual Intelligence using LDAP?

Any help is greatly appreciated as we are looking to get this issue resolved quickly so they can truly experience VI!

Hi Philip,

This was an issue in the past, but was fixed with one of the newer builts.

Before there was a manual workaround, here is a screenshot of it:

Thanks Frank, I will pass this along. 

I have one follow up question. Do you know which build it was corrected in?  And whether or not the free trial version for customers is available in that later build?

I believe it has been fixed in 1.0.5 which is currently available for trial download.
