Role assignment with ValidFrom and ValidTo

Hi All,

We are using SAP IdM 7.2 SP5 with Oracle and I noticed that whenever a role is forwarded for approval, and the role contains a ValidFrom and ValidTo date, the role is forwarded to the first approver but once the approver approves nothing happened.

I have tested the same scenario with MS SQL as database and had no issues.

I heard this is a bug but I want to confirm If this is true?

It certainly seems that way.  Have you raised an OSS note? 

Which version of Oracle are you working with?

Hello Fernandez,

we have also encountered a similar problem. The date was passed in the wrong format to the Oracle database.

This bug should be fixed in SP6. Which Service Pack are you running on?

Thanks so much. That piece of info helps much. I'm on SP5. I will try to upgrade to SP6. Just curious, I had reported a bug to SAP and they say the fix will be corrected in SP7. Any idea when SP7 is expected?
