Filedownload extensions

Hi

I have an issue when using the Filedownload UI in WDA. I have created a Z database table which stores the file content, file type, file size and file name as per one of the tutorials found on this forum (content is stored as an xstring). You are able to then view this file (retrieved from the database) when you click on a link in the Webdynpro. This works fine for PDF docs but every time I try to download file types docx or xlsx, I get a message to Open or Save the file and it is in the format of a zip file.

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe it's an issue with the mime-type. See this discussion, .

Yes it is an issue with the Mime type being used, You might be using the same mime type for all the files change that and It would work perfectly fine.
