how to see the layout of view in web dynpro programing

hi all

    when i am trying to create a webdynpro program whenever i am creating a view layout is not displaying instead of that following error is displaying

      how to get a layout instead of this error.

Hi Jason,

            Go to your Run command and type  Drivers .

You will be seeing ETC folder , open that.

then you will be finding the host file , try to open it with notepad.

in that jsut give your IP number .

hi alekhya,

Its the URL problem that's why its not showing the layout,

You have to make changes in the host file, so go to Run command and type "DRIVERS" and in the "ETC" folder and choose a program through Notepad and Now the main thing you have to do is to add IP address of the server name and the system for ex.

17.91.200.525		eccdemo.xxx.com
325.652.9.156		ides.xxx.com

i gave ip idress and system name in etc folder but it is saved in my documents

and again i tried to open a layout same error is coming

hi,

It has to be saved in etc folder only in C drive.Check it out once again.

If error occurs again then contact your BASIS guy.
