Problems with endSeparator 0D0A

Former Member

Hi experts,

We have a receiver cc with content conversion.

We have fieldFixedLengths and endSeparator parameters, endSeparator is set as 'nl' for each record, that correspond to 0D0A.

Receiving system consultant told us to change record demiliter from 0D0A to 0A, is it possible?

Thanks

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

In File Content Conversion we need to mention the HEX code for what we are trying to achieve as endSeparator.

0D0A that you are mentioning is "CRLF". That can be achieved in File Content Conversion only when you put the Corresponding Hex for CR and LF. The Ascii Code is as Follows:

(nl) 10 0012 0x0a New Line

(cr) 13 0015 0x0d Carriage Return

You can achieve 0A using 'nl' or as Michal mentioned '0x0a'.

Good Luck.
