Validation in ECC

I am currently working on an RDS for operational reporting with HANA. I need to validate data in the report against ECC data. Does anyone know of good ECC transactions that can query tables?

In the Quick guide is written following - Chapter 3.9 - Validate Deployment on page 21:

3.9.1 HANA Models Validation
For each of the delivered HANA models there is a test plan script available and it is strongly recommended to make your validation by using this test script, which guides you how to test the HANA models end-to-end against your own system environment.
3.9.2 BOBJ Reports Validation
For each of the delivered BOBJ reports there is a test plan script available and it is strongly recommended to make your validation by using this test script, which guides you how to test the BOBJ reports end-to-end against your own system environment.

I would suggest to use these validation scripts..

Hi Michelle,

I guess it is best to use some reports from the corresponding module in ECC to do the validation.

On 'low level' you can use SE16 or SQVI (query / quick viewer)... assuming that you have the needed authorizations in ECC.
